H I S T O R Y

<sub>Since the day she was born, Diana was "cursed" with a frail body and a very powerful sense of smell. Unfortunately for her, growing up in the most industrial area of PokéPark meant she was no stranger to the smell of metal, chemicals, and rust, which she greatly disliked. Being born in a family of mechanics made matters worse, as she was expected to take over the family business. She performs her apprenticeship with little skill and great reluctance.

Dia found it difficult to make friends because everybody smelled like the area, to the point of making her feel ill. It was hard for her to explain to others that she couldn't stand to be around them because of their smell, so many Pokémon simply decided to avoid her. When she is not required to go out, Diana mostly keeps to her room, which is filled with various incenses and scented candles to filter out the smell of rust and metal.

About a year ago, Dia was on her way back home when she crossed paths with a Roserade carrying a few suitcases. The Roserade passed by without a second thought, but she stopped dead in her tracks. He didn't smell like the area, with its acrid, metallic scent. He smelled... sweet... just like her incenses at home. Immediately, Dia turned around and grabbed onto his sleeve. The Roserade stopped and turned to look at her, surprised and confused.

The Roserade turned out to be Lucas Nichols, who emitted a naturally sweet scent due to his breed. Dia casually mentioned how the strong smells of the area often made her nauseous. In response to this, Lucas quickly sifted through his suitcase and pulled out a home remedy for nausea, one he often made for his mother. But it wasn't long before Lucas said he needed to be on his way. They said their goodbyes and Diana went home. To her delight, the remedy worked like a charm, and she spent the rest of the day happily hoping to see the sweet-scented flower Pokémon once more.

Unbeknownst to her, that was the day Lucas had been expelled from the Police Academy and was on his way to settle down in a new area, and she didn't even know his name. For a year, Dia did not see Lucas again. After growing continually ill from the smells around her, she succumbed to the weaknesses of her body, leaving her bedridden for many days at a time.

Currently she is on leave from her apprenticeship due to recurring illnesses.</sub>
